I spent a few days in Tokyo, staying at a CouchSurf host’s place. He lived in Kawasaki, and regularly houses people from all the over world. While I was over, I happened to meet a couple from Germany, who I would later randomly notice in Kyoto, but we never kept in touch.
I was thankful to have met a good friend of mine for dinner in Nakano. We met in Seoul, while I was on exchange, and it was super awesome that he could take the time to meet up with me. He took me out to have some Okinawan food as well as sushi, both wonderfully delicious. Again, I was the grateful recipient of Japanese hospitality, and I do hope to chat with him again about Japanese culture, except here in Canada!
